Users of the social network Twitter has become available a new feature Tippin, which allows you to send and receive micropayments in Bitcoins. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey believes that this can improve the quality of the content.
To start receiving or sending payments via Twitter, the user needs to create an account on this social network, and then install and activate a special extension for the Google Chrome or Firefox browser.
After that, a small lightning symbol will appear next to the familiar Like and Retweet buttons, clicking on which the user will be able to encourage the tweet you like by micro-payment in bitcoins.
Thanks to the use of the Lightning Network (LN) technology, all operations take place quickly and with a small commission.
Earlier, Dorsey joined the development of LN, saying that he would never own altcoins. He also supported the Torch Lightning Network relay transaction, which influenced the growing popularity of the network.
